It really depends on the prep…
I’m in Ohio and I’ve had 22” rims powder coated for $400. That guy literally just powder coated over the rims as they were dropped off to him.
Then I’ve got another guy who I’ve used to powder coated my Wilwoods which are a ton more labor in taping off/prep than...
All good @WestTxDenali.
Congrats on the promotion.
Now that we have 2 confirmed forum members who have swapped the L8T into their K2XX SUV there’s quite a few of us interested in your progress, how you get there, and the results.
Life happens at a pace more important then fun vehicle builds...
First off I know for a fact @Doubeleive and @Rocket Man are super familiar with our truck platform.
Also, I’m in agreement with the way the system works as you guys describe it.
My experience is with my ‘15 Yukon XL Denali when I lowered it…. Magnetic ride control and rear auto ride.
So stock...
I do understand this. I have adjusted the length of the rear auto-ride sensor rods on each rear passenger and rear driver side and have changed the right height from one side to another. Now, quite often when you change the driver side the passenger side is impacted from those changes also...
That's the best way to do the rear auto-ride sensor rods; 10-24 stainless machine screws cut to length. And yes you're absolutely right it's just a trial and error game to dial in the correct length on each side. I've always ended up with different lengths in the rear for passenger side vs...
You wasted no time installing these! Glad to see everything showed up quickly and as expected.
They turned out great! The additional width of the fog light beam pattern is very impressive and offers a huge amount of increased usable light. They're super bright, they look so white that they...
So your Denali has the same 6.2 L94 flex fuel motor in my Escalade ESV; Help me understand the benefit of adding a physical sensor vs your truck already being able to run flex fuel from the factory?
I don’t know much about the IHC’s, but I do know the DJM’s are serviceable as they offer both replacement bushings and replacement ball joints.

3” drop with upper and lower arms...
@reddmonkeyy those are DJM front lowering control arms. They make a few different options/combinations.
I also don’t think that’s a 5/7 drop. It looks more to me like a 4/6 or 3/5.
I’m a big fan of staying OEM if I can; They’ve serve well for 160K right?
I’ve also had pretty good experience with Mevotech TTX series control arms which are also a more “heavy duty” rated arm and BJ.
