Your using different vocabulary - buyback is different then lemon law, as are the calculations. You are being made whole, less cost of mileage prior to your first failure - any manufacturer want you to stay in the brand. Tell manufacturer rep., what you’d like to stay in the brand, then let them see what they can work out, you can ask for (but not necessarily get) an extended warranty as well.

I have a 2025 Tahoe HC and can tell you they changed a lot from the older one, zero defects, not many on the road and drives really well.

Would you mind providing a quick rundown on how you got to the buy back option?

My '25 Yukon Denali has been in the shop for 5+ weeks now with 934 miles on it awaiting the long lost valve body replacement.

I'm wondering if it would be quicker, and more likely that I'd end up with a working truck, if I elect for a buy back/swap?

Currently I'm waiting to hear from the "parts delay department" rep. It's been a week without a peep. Can't call them either, voice mail always full...

Thx!

What state is the vehicle purchased in? Registered in what state? Did you buy the vehicle new? Have you called into the manufacture support line? Do you have a case #?

@Newstar4 you are in a mess, GA lemon law is different than FL.
GA is actually more aggressive, but so are the requirements on you as a consumer, you are also coved under federal law.

My guess is this a GA claim, but there are technical issues.

You need a lemon law specific attorney (don’t pay them they are paid by the manufacturer)

This process will take a long time.

Thank you for your insight!

Will I need a Lemon Law lawyer from Fla or GA?

Any recommendations?
