    what is the deal with these MAP sensors? I tried a 3rd one which was Delphi. The rubber seal appears to be a slight bit wider in diameter than the original. I could not get any on them to seat into the hole like the original.

    Initially I watched that same video and took the plate off and found mine was different. like i said the sensor is down below and in a vertical position facing the firewall. My son has a 2003 Tahoe and is different than mine as well. I wonder why no one is familiar with the type that I have.

    since i am traveling, and can't wait for parts to be delivered. I bought some MAF cleaner and cleaned the MAF sensor. I am wondering if I should take off the MAP sensor which had been cleaned with WD-40 and use the MAF cleaner on it. Or should I just leave it alone for now.

    I see that there are two listed for my car. One has a temp. sensor and is more expensive. Easier to find the other one.

    The MAP sensor on mine isn't located under the plate , so i don't need to remove it. it is down and behind that area where you can not see it. So, I don't know what you mean by spreading the tabs apart to pull out the sensor.

    The guy was trying to be helpful and said the sensor was probably clogged, so he used WD-40. I drove it over 100 miles without the code coming back. I wanted to buy a new sensor just in case it would go bad again. But the 2 sensor brands that O'Reilly sold caused problems and didn't work. The...

    I took the part back to O'Reilly and they switched it out for standard brand part AS59. The orginal has 09359409, but no name on it. Also has 0335 number on it. The guy at O'Reilly put the new part in and I drove it 1/2 mile and it didn't the same , missing and stalling.(same code showed up...

    I got P0107 code and truck was jerking and stalled when let off gas. I pulled into an RV park and a nice man helped me. Took off the map sensor and cleaned with WD 40. I cleared code and it seemed to drive okay, so drove 100 miles to Belgrade MT. Thought I should buy a new sensor, so bought one...

    I don’t have the original key fob so don’t have a number. I bought two years ago from eBay. One worked the other one didn’t. The one that didn’t was 968. Amazon has 968 and 803. I bought the 803 but it doesn’t work. The inside was different as well. This is the one that works. Does anyone know...

    I replaced both upstream with denso O2 sensors. I thought the codes went away. Went on a camping trip pulling a less than 2000 lb. Camper. Gas Milage was around 12mpg. ( less than I normally get) when I got home , smelled gas again on the outside of vehicle. No check or service engine light...

    I checked for codes today before I drove it and no codes showed up. I drove about 25 miles and no service engine light. So we’ll see. I did order another upstream sensor for the other side. I read somewhere here that both should be changed at the same time or there maybe problems.

    Yes I thought I would do that if I didnt have enough retainer post left to attach to the frame hole device. Thank!

    After installing the sensor, I checked for codes and then cleared them. I then drove about 10 miles and the service engine light came on. When I got home checked the codes and only the P1133 code was there.
