BUMP. Since I like reading thru build threads that peak my interest, I just started on this one. See how long it takes to get thru these 490 pages
1 month later and all caught up :driver: Meticulous is an understatement. Seems you and @Fosscore share some characteristics in perfection  hope the most recent trans issue is something small and you can get back to driving The Beast soon!
Hope your doing good @Rocket Man Just wanted to say, like other awesome build threads on this forum, im over here reading thru yours from start to finish. Currently on page 233. Inspiration to keep working on mine. Love what I've seen so far :driver:
Not really an update, but finally did a first thorough wash on her since the paint job. Waited till after Hurricane Milton passed thru. Lucky she didn’t get a scratch or damaged. Tornadoes missed us, so that’s a plus. Now just have to get a good wax/ceramic on her once I get a chance to claybar...
I bet if you go somewhere with a higher population you can find it cheaper. I know when I shopped around, the high end shops, which would have produced showroom quality triple clear coat jobs that looks like glass, quoted anywhere from lowest $4500 to highest $9500. But as with anything, youll...
Wow thats crazy. I dont mind at all. Im in South Florida. Fort Lauderdale. I took it to a local guy, hes like a maaco but a little better. Hes been there 35years and does good work. I did the 2K Urethane paint job he offers. Entire tahoe sanded down and prepped and sprayed. I had to pay a little...

It’s not just Chevy. My wife’s 2024 Honda CRV doesn’t have provisions for them, and the new refresh on the 2025 Civic Si’s did away with them. For some reason a lot of manufacturers are straying away from fogs, thinking the bright led projectors are enough. Imho it’s never enough lighting
So finally got a chance to adjust my headlight and fog lights. Didn’t realize how messed up the alignment was. Also found I had one led not fully seated :emotions122:makes sense why the lights pointed down and out. Anyways got the LED bulbs set right and the depo housings pointing straight. Also...
I’m currently working on cleaning out my garage. Once done then I can pull it in and attempt a ceramic coat. That’s not a job I wanna do outside in the sun or the elements. But it’s on the list.
Nah. They are cracked and tabs broken. I’ll be ordering some lights in the next week or two once I find what I like. Not a fan of a lot of the lights out right now.
110% needs a good detail, but I’m giving the paint time to fully cure before hitting it with the whole clay bar, polish, wax etc etc.
Next up is to address allllll of my lighting. Interior and exterior. Still have a lot of parts to slowly make its way getting installed. Slowly but surely she’s...
