Does anyone know if the Belltech drop spindles are aluminum or iron? also do the PPV Tahoes come factory with aluminum spindles or Iron? If I order the Belltech kit, will it fit any version? I thought I read that they aren't interchangeable unless you get different arms too.
Used 4 credits with HP tuners and disabled the DOD right away.
I compared the tunes with my 2011 and even though the transmissions are the same, the base tunes are different in a lot of places.
Checked codes today after letting it sit overnight and got:
U0101
U0073
After I started the engine the U0073 went away but I had to clear the other one. All of the problems were gone too.
I've been having similar issues sporadically with a 2018 Tahoe PPV. All of my gauges drop to zero, warnings for Stabilitrak, steering assist, No power steering, transmission starts shifting funny, and the engine seems to be much weaker. If I shut it off, it will not start again, only a click...
found a full console with the rear ac controls. None of the existing wires worked except for the 12v outlet and USB connectors. Was hoping it would be more plug and play.
It does if it's the OEM option spelled out in the upfitter guide from GM. On my 2011, 6J7 is one of the RPO codes and it came with it factory installed. Doesn't mean my new one doesn't or didn't have one though, could be the 3rd party install since it wasn't on the RPO list that I picked up...
Yeah it works great on my 2011 PPV but can't find it on the 18 model. I tried applying 12v to that wire and looked on the radiator support but I didn't even see any connectors that it would tap into. Unless it's on the front side under the plastic cover?
I tried double tapping it, just turns it off and on. If I hold it down, it turns off stabilitrak all together like my old one. I guess I'll have to do some "high performance driving" and see if I can force it.
I was looking through the Upfitter guide for the 18 PPV and it talks about Competition Mode, but doesn't say what needs to happen for it to activate or if you can manually activate it. Any ideas?
I was looking for the wig wag light module that is installed to activate the flashing alternating lights. The upfitter guide says it's installed on the radiator support on the passenger side but I can't find it. I applied 12v to the green wire in the harness to activate it but nothing...
