Supposedly Ben Charles knows what you need to do to prevent REP mode with throttle mapping...
but won't disclose in public forum.

You're right!
Maybe the wire from ECM to relay interrupted somewhere..

I have a flat passenger mirror (glass only) you can have if you want it!
I tried it, felt too narrow of a view. (didn't have a spot mirror)
I like the mirror showing a little of the body side, for backing up when close to things..
Front blower motor and resistor are under your glovebox.
Need to remove underdash cover (3 screws, one near the middle)
When you take that cover off, you will see everything.
Even with the two bolts out, the bracket just falls down a little which didn't seem to help..
Not much space to lift up before it hits the dash, some people cut the dash part above it.
I cut my VCIM bracket because I eliminated the VCIM and no longer needed it..
(May have cut it just to remove...
Flickering lights and things going on and off could be a gound/power issue.
I would clean any grounds you can find and inspect the battery cables for corrosion/tightness.
If misfires on 1&4 only, perhaps worn plugs or bad plug wires or bad coils?
Swap them around and see if misfire follows.
