Always buy from a trusted supplier.
I have been ripped off before, confused the crap out of me with my boat.
I ended up with counterfeit plugs that wouldn't run worth a shit.

buy from a trusted seller.
For me: it's summit racing, Jeggs, or a local auto parts store to be 100% sure I'm getting legit.

Rock Auto I hear it's like Amazon... tread carefully and check the sellers rep.

Rock Auto's not like some Amazon sellers; their stuff is real.
Yeah, first I've heard anything like that about having to watch them. They're a parts house, not a collection of independent vendors like eBay or Amazon, so they can keep control over their inventory. I've always had 100% good luck with them - for many years and thousands of dollars in parts now.
