Just bought a used ‘22 GMC Yukon Denali. When using AUTO and at full turn from stopped say in a cul-d-sac, noticeable vibration is felt in the car. Wondering if this is cause for concern. In 2^ car drives like a champ but don’t want this to be a concern for identifiable issues now that could become big ones down the road. What is that reverberation telling me? Dealer says it’s normal but I test drove another GMC to compare and that was not happening as noticeably whatsoever. Why the vibration/shutter?

You know, the one we know nothing about. Comparing apples to apples? If you do the same turn and not all the way to the steering stop, does the same thing happen?

are the wheels rubbing? for instance if the tires are big they could be rubbing on the sway bar at full lock this could cause a vibration or noise.

First post, should have elaborated more. I requested to test another vehicle they put me in a ‘21 gmc Yukon Denali with 35k miles and mine is ‘22 gmc Yukon Denali with 33k. I would say I felt the most minimal shutter in the ‘21 but much more pronounced in mine. We were test driving in a cup-d-sac. Doing the same turn. I will also note I have felt the shutter in my vehicle while backing out of a parking space and turning the wheel maybe 80%.
The dealer basically says there is nothing to fix. Everything is fine, drive in 2^. It’s just my first large vehicle purchase and I don’t want to be putting myself in a bad spot moving forward when there is something they should be identifying this shutter is a result of.
I don’t believe so as it seems the vibration comes at 80-90% of wheel turn. I don’t feel it while at 100% crank on a turn.
And it’s not a noise just a small vibration but both myself and passenger can identify it easily when it happens.

What your feeling is the 4wd auto trying to engage the front axle. Auto 4wd works off of front and rear wheel speed since your in Auto the front wheel speed making a real sharp turn is a lot slower then the rear the system is thinking it needs to engage the the front differential and your feeling the shutter yours is more pronounced then the other vehicle. You are turning the 4wd differential in auto mode as its ready to engage if needed,in 2wd your not.
could be but shouldn't be, I drive mine in auto 24/7 and it's a big truck so full turns are needed often no vibration when turning

I"ve been out of the dealerships for quite some time but I believe there are different types of transfer cases and the way they operate. It depends on gear ratios and 2 speed or 1 speed active transfer cases which can be found on the RPO codes. Just because you think the 2 trucks are the same doesn't mean they are. Even the fluid and additives can change from year to year. Tire size and tire wear have to be taken into account and a rolling circumference needs to be done. Are the tires and rims original? Auto should not be used unless you are on wet slippery snow gravel or snow etc........ You need to see if the read positraction is also working correctly. The list goes on and on .......
