Took a 500 mile road trip today, Sunday. Light to medium traffic, two people with luggage, no drag racing, no big hurry, mostly at a couple above the speed limit. 2019 Tahoe, 5.3, 3:08 gear, mid grade gas. I'm pretty satisfied with this:

As much as you like to believe what you see. M2’s are known to mislead up and down. Your best option is to keep a log and/or perform manual calculations to get C an accurate number. I have been using the fuelly app for five years and have logs for all 3 k2s.

I checked that readout a couple times before and it was within a tenth or so on the averages. Very little down time or city driving with this trip. The technology does work, if they could just get the reliabilty improved.

And got the same average on the way back, did see 23.1 mpg for a while there. AFM and all stock tune as new.

i took our burb out this past weekend for a while, was getting a pretty solid 23 mpg @ 75 mph. I wouldn't be surprised to gain another MPG or two by dropping to 65-70, 65-70 is where i've always been the best highway mpg on my various rigs over the years. Except my 74 K5. It could not do 70...something about low gears and a SM465 that was geared in ultra low, really low, kinda low, and driving.....

Nice. I just drove 4200 miles round trip in mine up to Banff Canada, areas of the PNW, and back. Averaged 19.2mpg but I also set the cruise control at 87-89mph on Interstate 15 from Vegas to Missoula Montana (and the same on the way back). And I have AFM disabled.
So not bad for being loaded down with a bunch of gear and the aerodynamics of a refrigerator.
