I decided to do the Takata airbag recall at Knapp Chevrolet in Houston. Dropped the car off at around 8AM and it was done at around lunch time. The tech went over the car and it got a super clean bill of health.
Then, inspired by Sparksalot, I decided to do a vented hood mod. Talk about a PIA. I think it came out ok.

Which louver did you get?
I got that whole cover on top of the hood. Cutting and measuring was pain. The brand is Rough Country.

Did it come with the template?
It did and the template really helped out.

What are the basic dimensions for the louver?
About 36 x 29 (l x w).
