I replaced my Front and Rear Shocks in Dec 2022. Arnott Suspension Air Strut/Shocks MR-3436. They in about 18months. They look pretty bad. Anyone else have this experience? Wondering if there is something else going on before I replace them. They are under a 2 year warranty.

Wow! I have not seen that before, though, other folks with more experience than me may see otherwise. Those look like they were literally blown up.

I wonder if the compressor's internal pressure regulator may have failed, though I don't know if the compressor itself could generate enough pressure on its own to cause that type of damage.

from what I read in a old thread on here. the air fittings blow off before the max bag pressure. I don't know where they got the info or what exactly the psi was without searching again.

that looks crazy.

Asked the same question to Arnott. Received this as a reply. About that I expected, but good to know these are OE just rebranded. "It’s hard to say what could have caused it to rupture like that, the MR-3436 is the factory replacement we simply purchase them from OE manufacturer (ACDelco) and resell them."

Arnott previously had a lifetime warranty on those. Their site shows a two year warranty now.

Buy a new set & get them swapped out b4 the warranty runs out.
