Good afternoon all,

I currently have this noise coming from the front passenger wheel well. It sounds like metal rattling at 1k rpm and 1.5k rpm. It doesn't sound like its coming from the engine itself rather under the truck.

I've had this noise for about 1 month(?), maybe longer.

Well, today I finally crawled under the truck while my BIL revved the truck to the above RPMs and found the sound to be a lose clamp at the 2nd cat(?).

Attached are pictures of the cat and the lose clamp. In the first picture, you can see a mark where the exhaust gases have leaked through there (I'm assuming that's what the black mark is.)

Can anyone tell me the part # for that clamp or can i use a universal clamp for this job?

This is the one I got when mine snapped trying to remove it. I believe you can get it cheaper elsewhere but this got it done the same day while I was installing my new catback exhaust.

Conngtold,
I have the same problem. The clamp is not broken. The clamp bolt is completely tightened, yet the pipe still slides around loose.
Question: looks like your pipe was leaking. Did the new clamp tighten properly to seal?
