I used what Sparksalot linked in the Amazon link. I honestly was not impressed with it as it was difficult to spray it evenly. I bought Herculiner for the roof rack and it came out way more even when putting it down. Definitely recommend Herculiner.
how much did you use? would a qt cover the same area? I would probably want to put a couple layers on

and did you tape it off? if so did the tape come off without issue afterwards, no idea how tough that stuff set's up and if I end up having to use a razor knife to get any tape off

I used 3 cans total. I masked off the entire car except the painted area. The tape is super easy to get off and you shouldn’t have any issues with it. Definitely mask off as much as you can as it is not as friendly with overspray as say plasti dip.

From what I have seen, it’s difficult to get the roll on stuff on evenly.
i'll just buy the aerosol, I need to hit up harbor freight and get a plastic sheet and just cover the whole truck except what I cut and tape off for the roof
not going to remove the rack I just need to cover the center where I scratched it up already will look better than trying to just rattle can some paint on it.
maybe I can hit it with white paint afterwards to deflect heat or some thing that doesn't look hideous. black is not bad but it's already hot as hell around here

Yea mine looked super beat up. Plus lots of holes from being a PPV. Looks a whole lot better now. Post You should post some before and after pictures when you finish. Where do live? It’s hot as hell here in Houston also.

I am in the central valley of California, it's a smidge cooler than redding or bakersfield but not by much, they call it "mediterranean" still mostly hot as balzz in the summer
