Are all Tahoes the same height? (4x4 vs 4x2; Z-71 vs regular?)

Hi!

Are all Tahoes are the same height? Or does ordering a 4x4 Tahoe or the Z-71 package increase the ride height compared with the standard Tahoe?

Thanks!

I can't speak for the Z71. But the LT with the load level will sit different vs magnetic ride LTZ vs regular suspension.

I think they all sit different depending on options. The beauty of "computer tuned springs"!

I would guess the 4 WD versions would be a bit higher in the front. For sure...the Police versions are about 2" lower.

I don't know the answer, but my 4WD 15 Tahoe practically requires a stepladder to get in. Much higher than my old 4WD 07 Tahoe.

In looking at the 2016 MY brochure and the fleet ordering guide (more important & accurate), there is no difference between 2wd and 4wd. Both have a max height of 74.4".

That's what I found as well, Kpwweb. Both the Chevrolet brochure and Edmunds spec page shows 74.4" for all models - regardless of model.

I have an LS 2WD and when sitting next to an LT 4WD, they're exactly the same height.

Yukon John is exactly correct - both the 2015/16 2WD and 4WD PPV's sit at 72.4"
