my yukon headlights had led drop in bulbs when I got it. they seemed fine, but I replaced the whole housing soon after.

you should check the amp draw of the bulbs you're trying to use. it should be under the fuse by atleast 75%. so like a 10amp fuse circuit will usually only run 6-7 amps max, before going to thicker wire and higher fuse. running a 10amp fuse with a 9-10amp load usually leads to hot and or melted fuse terminals. gotta remember the fuse uses a tiny wire is meant to burn quickly in a short. running one right at its rating makes for a lot heat across that small connection

Not to dredge up the dead, but I'm facing this issue right now. I have aftermarket headlights that worked great for a while and I noticed last week that the passenger side high beam no longer works. Diagnosting it as best as I could, I seen that the fuse instantly blows whenever I engage the high beams. Any ideas?
I ended up taking it to a the shop and they had special headlights they installed. Costed me $200 for all 4 bulbs and installation.
