No Don't do that You just need to follow the reprogram proceedure. As Follows: !. Turn on your Key and be sure to push the Auto Button on the AC Controls. Turn the key off.
2. Open your Hood and on the Drivers Side, find the Fuse Box right next to the Battery. Look for the 10 amp Fuse for AVAC ECAS. wait for 60 seconds.
3. Start the engine and do not touch the AC/Heater controls. Allow the Doors to recalibrate for 120 Seconds.
4. Turn off for 10 to 30 seconds.
5. Restart your engine, and verify absolute cold setting and front output, on both sides then turn to the floor, verify. Turn on your defroster and verify air flowing at the windshield. Then turn on the hot temperature and verify the warm temp at various locations.
With all functions confirmed, You are done and ENJOY.
If anything does not work as planned, repeat again carefully.

P S !! Anytime you loose power or replace a component, you will need to do this again. Just keep it in your Glove Box.
