Why the hell do you feel dumb? If not every single member of this forum, I'd bet a huge majority learned from something like this. And I would posit none of them is dumb. Think of it this way: How do you know what you don't know? You learn it from people who do know. And you are blessed with a forum where people actually care about the members knowing.i feel dumb, i switch number 7 injector to the number one which is not misfiring, put it all together and started the car, still flashing check engine, scanned it and only code says p0300 random misfire detected.
did live data and turns out number one is now misfiring and number 7 is no longer misfiring

thank you guys for all the help. i will order new AC delco injectors but will have to wait for a while since they are $60 each

The price tells it all. No way they're Genuine GM @ $10 each.

Why not replace just the one you know is bad?
i will have to do that for now , but eventually i want to change them all

The link I followed was for 8 injectors, for $80. So I concur -- too good to be true.
