Airbag sensor

Airbag light is lit up on my 2005 Tahoe Z71. Codes are B100 and B103 which are “Electronic Front End Sensor 1” and Electronic Front End Sensor 2”. I was told I needed part number CTA-1154 (2 of them) which is the airbag front sensors (or crash sensors). Was also told the part is hard to find and where it is available it runs about $600-$700 per sensor. I tried searching for these sensors myself and got the same result. Is anyone aware of any other alternative to this or am I stuck paying $1200-$1400 for the pair?

is this one of the sensors you need??? (post 42,549)...if so, they are available pre owned on eBay and are reliable and inexpensive...

I don’t have the car with me, it is at the mechanic. He is taking a pic and sending it to me, I will compare. What year/make/ model did you do this replacement on?

Update… mechanic removed the sensor and confirmed the code was same as the one you sent me… 15103522. We ordered two, will arrive tomorrow. Thanks for your help!

for future reference dorman makes some as well that you can find for around $70 online, there all the same from 03-06 anyway across the gmt800 line up so a junkyard is usually a good source also.
