I have a 2006 Yukon Denali AWD that needs a new new transmission. M32 RPO code. 4L65e right?

Was looking at some re-maned on ebay but the seller is telling me I might have a 4L70e. Is that possible?

Thanks that's what I thought.

I am not sure about the turbine speed sensor or even what that is. I'm pretty sure everything is original.
Call the dealership and ask for parts - give the parts guy the last 8 characters of your VIN...The parts guy will tell you if you have a turbine speed sensor or not...You need to know this if you're planning on swapping in transmissions...If your current unit has a TSS and you swap in a 4L65E that does not, you'll have all kinds of problems when you try to drive it...

2006 was the first year of that TSS for the truck/SUV 4L60Es and some had it, some did not. If yours doesn't then it won't matter if you buy a 2001-2008 unit, all will work as required. If it does, then you're limited to a 2006 that has it or a 2007-2008 unit.

Verify before you buy anything.
