Hello, you big site of geniuses. I have a 2007 suburban 5.3. Recently, my burb will be driving and suddenly and randomly just die. All my lights are still on, and I can slap it into neutral, and it starts back up. I have replaced my coil packs and nothing. I cleaned the MAF sensor. I'm at a loss. Also, when it dies, it's like it is flooded. Sometimes, if I get it to neutral quick enough, I can feather the pedal and get it to not die. It idles just fine it won't die only when it has a load on it.

I really appreciate any help you can provide.

You shouldn't be trying to fix it by guessing and throwing parts at it. You'll just wind up frustrated, broke and likely won't fix the issue.

Take it to a shop for diagnosing. Ask for diagnostics-only service, if you may want to actually fix it yourself once you know what the issue is.

My sister in law recently took her '16 Pilot to the dealership because her CEL came one. They quoted her $12,000 for a new transmission, plus another $12,000 for brake pads, rotors, oil and a filter and some other minor maintenance stuff. So $24k quote on a car she bought for $20k a few years ago. LoL. Diagnosis fee was $199 though.

intermittent fuel starvation (pump) ??

I think this is probably correct. what feels like rich is probably lean.
you'll need a scanner with live data like fuel pressure and o2 reading to confirm

first thing to do is grab a cheap fuel pressure tester (harbor freight) and see what the fuel pressure is showing when it dies or starts to die, sounds like a classic low fuel pressure issue
there like $30 but you will always have it, or you can even just rent one from places like auto-zone they just take a deposit and refund it when you return the tool, zero cost.
