Check and see if it looks wet between the master cylinder and booster. The rear seal could be worn out and leaking. Also check power steering fluid condition to see if it looks contaminated.
I don't have hydroboost, so pwr steering fluid wouldn't be involved. How can you tell if just the booster is bad?

I think the most obvious answer is your booster is bad, but check for leaks around your entire system - could be losing pressure somewhere at a caliper, a line connection, etc.
Pedal isn't rock hard. I replaced the mc 2 years ago this month. Pedal slowly went to the floor at a red light, and never really recovered after that. I just ordered another mc. Another AC Delco.Screenshot_20241108_193612_Amazon Shopping.jpg

Spray painted the carpet. Yes spray paint. It was heavily damaged by a 2 1/2 gallon container of pool chlorine (twice as strong as bleach) that toppled over and the lid popped off on because person in front of me HAD to stop for a just turned yellow light. Aaaarrgh!

Anyway, used the duplicolor HPV109 medium gray vinyl/fabric paint. It’s close enough for me. Looks way better than huge bright yellow stains splattered between the seats etc.

And I have replaced the bungee that broke that normally secures the chlorine !

Wow, looks great. How does it feel? Hard, or does it feel normal?

WOW. That actually looks impressive!

I saw your previous post and was going to recommend that product. I've been using it on interior plastics and even on the leather seats after a bit of touch up on small repairs. I just haven't used it on carpet, so I wasn't sure...

My house has brown carpet my wife discolored when she put a bottle of bleach near the restroom door. I think I'll try some of that stuff in brown.

Seems to feel fine. I didn’t lay it on thick and used a stiff brush the brush it right after in hopes of keeping from being crunchy. Surely a little stiffer / crunchy than before, but the trade off is well worth it.
