My 2025 was delivered this morning! Bought it from Rivard in Tampa for ~10% off. FL fees are high and I paid $950 to ship it, but still miles ahead of paying full freight from a local dealer. 4 miles when it rolled off the truck, up to 12 now but nice and clean!

Congrats!

Can you ask your salesperson if he'll do 10% off a 25 AT4 Ultimate order?

We did run a couple errands in it last night, so I do now have a few first impressions. For background, I’ve never owned a GM product, and had never driven a full size SUV before yesterday. Kid #4’s arrival necessitated a move up to something this size, and even though we’re coming from an Explorer, we just didn’t like the Expedition when compared to the Yukon. This was supposed to be my wife’s DD, but after sitting in a couple she decided that’s not happening. So this will be for full-family road trip-type duty, and she’s swapping the Explorer for an X7 (this worked out nicely for her….). But after driving the Yukon a bit yesterday, I agree with her - it’s a large vehicle and even though it drives very well, there’s simply no hiding its mass.

All that said, it’s amazing and I’m so glad I waited for the 25 instead of getting a discounted 24, especially since the price was right around where discounted 24s are listed anyway. The tech is really impressive, and although I was a big skeptic of the massive screen, I love it now. The Denali Reserve wheels are pretty nice looking, and overall I’d say the fit and finish are at least on par with a modern Ford, if not slightly better. It’s definitely more polished than our 21 Explorer, and probably my 23 Raptor as well.

The only head scratchers so far are that I can’t figure out how to pop the rear hatch from the driver’s seat, and the lack of LATCH anchors in the 3rd row. I’m otherwise thrilled with it, and the kids love it too. Overall it’s a people-mover, but a pretty darn nice one. Hopefully the 6.2 stays together and this will serve us well for years!

Beautiful truck, congratulations!

You are right - it’s massive but that mass can save your family in an accident. These vehicles are land yachts, enjoy the ride!

Yes it is massive but you soon get used to it...just drive it.
