Gotta be careful with that 00-01 thing…
I'm sure he meant all GMT800 2000-2006, no
@drdave81 ? I believe there may be some differences on the later years for things like core support, but bumpers/valance should all be the same 00-06. Again, GMT 800 obviously.

Prior to joining this forum, I "assumed" trucks and SUVs were 99-06 GMT800, because I have a 1999 Silverado. I still sometimes forget about this.

The odd 2000 Tahoe and the 2000 Denali (?) carryover years still get me. Those are pretty rare these days though.

Yes I was referring to the GMT800 style, since that was what OP was wanting to do, swap NBS LS front end with NBS Z71 front end. There was never any mention of wanting to swap a GMT400 style, so I didn't think to mention that. I'm sure if he had come across one of those, it would have been glaringly obvious it's not the same front end.

Hey y'all I have an 02 Suburban LS. I really would like to swap in the grille and bumper/valence/fog lights from a Z71. I much prefer the look of the Z71, and how they're color matched. Also the junkyard near me has one of the same color as my truck, so that's a plus!

Question is, will this be a direct swap? Are the bumper brackets and such the same on a Z71 as on my LS model? I know there may be a bit of wiring involved for the fog lights, that's fine. Just want to make sure everything will line up.

Thanks!
I have a 2000 Z71 and it’s

I have a 2000 Z71 and it’s a different body style then the later 2000 there was a body change in the middle of production but there not the same when I order parts I use 1999 and have to give serial number ,I do have parts for the Z71 older like mine

Of course, but when you posted 00-06 were all the same i just wanted to clear that up for future people looking. Not being a dik just clarifying
Was much easier to search parts for a 2001 Tahoe when I had my 00. I often got the wrong parts before I started doing that.
