I want to upgrade to a heated steering wheel. I found one that was compatible with my 2021 Tahoe LT and a clock spring that was compatible as well. But now the left side buttons don’t work. What are my next steps? Please help!

Get the wiring diagram and wire it up correctly? Sounds like it’s not hooked up electrically.

Even replacing some (if not all) electrical parts in these trucks -- and most cars for years now -- with factory replacement of the same part seem to require "reprogramming" the computer to recognize the part.

Where do I go to get that reprogramming? Just ask the dealership? I’ve never done something like this on a newer vehicle.

So my AT4 arrived with no heated steering wheel due to back order on module. Fast forward 1yr later and I get the email. Go into my local dealership and they swap out the entire wheel and then reprogram the module in. Yep, not just a plug-n-play industry anymore. Its a "doable" feature to make certain they get paid for said "extra" features. I was actually looking at....i'll save that for another thread; maybe if I pull the trigger.
