My drivers mirror on my ‘23 Tahoe occasionally will adjust to the wrong position. I can then adjust it back, but if I hold my memory button it will return to the WRONG position. It seems if I save it again it won’t do it for a bit, then after a few days, it does it again. Any ideas or others have this issue that could help me get the dealer to fix it? They just say they can’t duplicate the issue.

I have been having the same issue with my 22 Denali. Sometimes it goes back to its memory position but not always. Occassionally the passenger mirror will reset to a different position too, but usualy it holds pretty good.
Made appointment for service, took it in. they said they had this big software update that might fix this issue and some other things like radio. That was probably 3 weeks ago. Have no idea what software update did, nothing changed that I can see.
Have another appointment on12/2 to meet with some tech about this issue.
Will post after that, but I'm worried it won't act up when I'm there.

Thanks. Keep me posted. I’ll do the same. Hopefully whatever fix is found with either they can do the same to the other.

Others have had this problem. Sniff around on the site some more for other posts.

My mirrors went goofy one day. Had to make sure to adjust them to the correct neutral position via the Settings menu, then the mirrors buttons, and then had to save it to memory. No issues after that. But I had to adjust to the right combo first and then save it.

Would you mind explaining more detail what setting where and the steps? I’d like to give it a try.

I don't recall what all I did exactly... But I started in the Settings menu (maybe under Vehicle/Convenience?) and turned off the mirror tilting options, etc. Then I made sure when I'd back up the mirrors wouldn't tilt... and then I set the mirrors where I wanted them via the door buttons... And then I made sure to save the settings via the Memory setting on the door switch -- and then always/only use the key fob associated with those settings.

So far, so good.

My 2024 Yukon XL SLT mirrors sometimes go wonky too… I feel like the reverse mirror tilt and folding mirror combination is sort of the reason. Usually if I hold the memory button the settings will recall but sometimes it’s still off slightly.

Glad that worked for you. I tried all those steps with no success.

Had my appointment with GMC electronics technician. I explained the issue to him. He didn't really say anything, just started fidling with the mirror adjustments. He also played with seat adjustments, why? don't know. Tried to follow sequence of the buttons, but really couldn't keep up.
When he was done the mirror was holding memory. I kept playing with it a few more times and memory held the whole time. Went home a happy camper.
The memory held for 2x's this morning, 3rd time memory was gone. So now I'm back to being aggravated. I know there are worse issues but OMG can't get simple mirror memory to work!!!

What seems to work for me:
When my mirror memory goes flaky, I remote start once and the mirrors go back to normal. Once a week seems to do it. (2013 Yukon Denali)
