For the Premier trim, why does the 6.2L force you into having the rear seat entertainment package? Also for the Premier trim, why does the Max Trailering Package force you into having the "Sun and Tow" package?

My SO and I went out to test drive 2024 Suburbans in the 5.3L and 6.2L gas configurations. The dealer advised that ordered 2025 Suburbans would be at MSRP (initially).

I did a quick search on Chevy's build configurator and local dealer inventory and I found a few already advertising discounts on in-transit 2025 Suburbans:

$5000 off MSRP - https://www.nnchevrolet.com/VehicleSearchResults?search=new&model=Suburban&year=2025

$750+ off MSRP depending on location - https://www.bomninchevroletmanassas.com/VehicleSearchResults?search=new&year=2025&model=Suburban

$1000 off MSRP - https://www.cmaschevroletofmartinsburg.com/new-vehicles/suburban/?_dFR[make][0]=Chevrolet&_dFR[model][0]=Suburban&_dFR[type][0]=New&_dFR[type][1]=CTP&_dFR[type][2]=Demo&_dFR[year][0]=2025

~$2000 off MSRP - https://www.koonswhitemarshchevy.co...suv&ModelAndTrim=Suburban&yearrange=2025-2025

$3000-4000 off MSRP - https://www.countrychevrolet.com/new-inventory/index.htm?model=Suburban&year=2025-2025

$2000 off MSRP - https://www.adamschevrolet.com/new-...[1]=CTP&_dFR[type][2]=Demo&_dFR[year][0]=2025

... what do you think the discounts will be once these 2025s start to pile on dealer lots in 1-3 months?

I think days of full MSRP are over. You should be able to get some discount. I'm surprised the GMC config tool isn't live though.

Classic Chevy started advertising $3000 off MSRP yesterday. They were at MSRP last month. Wonder what the discounts will look like in January/February/March across the board for other high volume dealers...

Hey all, if you’ve placed a 2025 order, what sort of pricing are you agreeing to with the dealer? MSRP? Below MSRP?

I know the 2024 Tahoe are commonly going for 6k below MSRP these days, but I’m not sure how much the dealers are going to budge for the 2025 while they are brand new.
Used supplier pricing on mine but they were gonna knock off about 2500 if I didn’t.

Did you get anything thrown in, or did you just take the supplier discount as it is? I am using it and trying to negotiate a little with options.

Rivard in FL has some big discounts on 25’s that are in-transit. Anyone have experience ordering from them? I suspect that the economics might work better than my local dealer even after shipping.

I reached out to them on a GMC Sierra 1500. Their ordering process was ... interesting. They said they would not be able to provide a quote until they submitted the build to GM and the vehicle was invoiced.

Question for you folks that are more familiar with GMC's factory ordering process...

Are you able to lock in the current rebates/qualified rebates at time of ordering and opt for the rebates/qualified rebates at time of delivery if those are better?

I've talked to a few GMC dealers and they don't seem to indicate that you can lock in GM rebates/qualified rebates at the time of order.
