2021/2022 Tahoe/Yukon Third row seats removal?

Also does taking out the seats cause any codes to be thrown because of electronics?

There might be codes, but they won't show up as a check engine light. Only when you connect a scan tool and do a full scan of all the modules will you get a warning.

I would be mindful that if you disconnect the wiring from the 3rd row power fold motors, you might cause a battery draw. GM published this article which talks about a battery draw issue because the BCM doesn't fully go to sleep if the 3rd row power fold connector is not fully seated at the switch.

As I said, I never removed anything. The third row seats are folded flat the way they come from the factory and I cut a piece of plywood to lay on top of the third row seats and the rear floor. It is about 4' square. To make the plywood perfectly flat I added a piece of 1x6 (screwed to the plywood) at the rear between the plywood and the rear floor and then covered the whole piece with thin black carpet.
