I’m not really sure how to respond to the last three comments other than I’m glad the stock tires have been changed out for higher performance tires.

I think everyone’s level of comfort with trailering is different and speed should be approached from conditions given in the situation.

Trailer safely and within the abilities of your vehicle. Arriving late is better than not at all.

I hope he doesn't live around here. It's just a matter of time, and he'll probably take some innocent(s) out, too.

It sounds like you're young. "It's ok, I've done it before" doesn't work forever.

I am definitely talking about traveling on highways, where conditions and conditions allow this. We are very active in the construction of such highways that allow you to travel between large cities at a speed of 100-110 miles per hour for 400-600 miles in a row)
Sounds like a great way to get from one place to another. On well designed roads I enjoy driving at a good pace. Also sounds like you got the right tires for the job.

But, I'm too cheap (frugal?) for the most part, so if I don't have wind, or good traffic flow, to assist with the wind drag reduction I get too pissed off at the drop in fuel economy and decide to keep it in a happy zone and take a few more minutes to get there. But 100 mph is is fun to cruise at in good conditions.

I'm 43 y.o.
But that's not the point, we always have cars in the left lane driving over 95 miles per hour on these highways. My previous car was a Mercedes GLS, I drove it on such highways at a speed of 125 miles per hour, and the distance between cities is 400 miles in 3 hours and 45 minutes

We have a very large country, and the distance between cities is quite a problem. And we found a solution to it. We built toll highways where we made a speed limit of 81 mph. That being said, we have a non-punishable 12.5 mph overspeed. Thus, you can drive at a speed of 81 + 12.5 miles per hour on such toll highways, it turns out that 93.5 miles per hour is allowed by law and you do not get a fine. But in addition to this, there are no speed cameras or police on these highways, and it turns out that there is no one to record speeding, and on such highways you can drive at a speed of at least 200 miles per hour)) yes, travel on such a highway is not cheap, about $ 50 for a section of 400-500 miles, and people choose, either quickly and for money, or calmly on a free alternative highway. Next year, a 1,300-mile section from the European part of Russia to Siberia should be opened. And there are plans to build such a highway across the country, 8,000 miles long

As I said... but go on, do what you do.

Holy cow!! That sounds awesome! I may have to visit when I can drive from one side to the other on a paved, high speed, road. Pretty neat stuff. I like progressive thinking, although I hate toll roads. But, I understand that 8000 miles of road isn't cheap to build or maintain.

What kind of fuel economy do you get driving like Mario Andretti? Also, what is your fuel cost in Russia?

Of course come))) we have a huge number of interesting places)) here is a photo, for example, in the Ural Mountains. On the border between Europe and Asia)) fuel consumption in the mode of 100-100 mph turns out to be about 11.5-12 mpg, and gasoline is similar to the American 91, in our country it costs about $ 2.7 per gallon
