What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Doing it again yourself, because you screwed up the first time, would be worse!
I have a feeling they will handle it if it was on their end.

I remember being at a local transmission shop (ATO in Rancho Cordova) and that owner pulled one transmission out more than once to find a problem on a fresh rebuild. It ended up being a pinhole leak in a brand new seal..

I'm the other way around. I'd rather redo my own work 3 times than have to confront and argue with a shop even once.

I knew I should have taken my alignment back and made them put it on the rack in front of me. bit didn't have it in me and then forgot.

till I noticed the outside edge feathering and just broke out the turn plates, strings and did it myself like I should have the first time.
blah.

Verified passenger mirror defroster does work after tightening wire terminals. Thanks all for the suggestions!

The defrost area on the kool vue is a little different than OEM. The outside couple inches do not have defroster lines.
The defroster pad is circular in shape, so cannot cover the entire mirror. but it works well and defrosts enough to see.

Hi guys, hope everyone’s been doing well. I’ve been away for a few years.

Still have my 2007 GMC Yukon

The beast pulled my 20 foot enclosed trailer 2500 miles from Seattle Washington to Dayton Ohio

I installed an equalizer weight distribution hitch on the trailer with the real nice heavy duty ball Mount hooking it to my truck

I also had a local shop in Seattle installed an auxiliary transmission cooler, which I’m sure really really helped coming over those three mountain passes where my transmission temperature would’ve definitely overheated without it

I’m curious about LED headlight lamp replacements for my 2007 Yukon

I’m wanting to replace all of the bulbs in the headlight assembly with LEDs so that I don’t have to ever mess around with changing them again probably for the life of my vehicle

I’m sure you guys know the best brands where to buy them which ones to stay away from which is why I’m dropping in besides saying hi hello and answer any questions on my trip and how my rig handled pulling that trailer across the country

my 2 cents is to start with the diode Dynamics fog lights. bit pricey but good for a drop in. and might be enough you don't worry about the head lights. personally I went with retrofit some bi-led driving lights into my fog lights. but it's a hassle and you don't gain anything on lo beam really, maybe a little filler. and the over priced aftermarket heading housing with led projectors in them. hard to say if I recommed them or not really. you really gotta love them for the price haha.

as for drop in led in the halogen bulb housing, it's had to get a cheap bulb to be good. here's a decent video showing some of what all to consider.

Noticed the kool vue outside mirror defogs faster than OEM. (It turned to dew already, so maybe not accurate)
Measured a couple old OEM mirror heaters, 7 and 8 ohms. Spare kool vue mirror 14 ohms.

The OEM defogs close to the edges, the koolvue is round and you can see the heating element pattern as it heats up. (in the frost)
