I pay for OnStar with data at the moment, so my 2024 Tahoe has it's own data plan and all the apps and features should work. I'm logged into my Google account through the Tahoe's screen, but every few days google maps stops showing my saved locations and I don't get the speed limit icon on the gauge cluster. I'll sign out of my google account and back in again, then my favorites and the speed limit icon come back for a few days, but then it messes up again until I sign out and in.

Is anyone else experiencing this? If it continues I'm going to cancel the subscription and just rely on Android Auto/Car Play.

The maps auto download every few days. I have noticed speed ;imit does not show while maps are updating. It often takes several minutes for the download to complete

Try updating your Google maps in your Tahoe.

With your vehicle on and parked, open Maps and hit the gear icon to go to the Google Maps settings. Scroll down to "About & help". Scroll down to "Version", and tap on that. This should take you to the screen to update your Maps app. Allow time to download and install the update, then hit "open".

I was having the same problem on my 2023 Tahoe. The 2 recent/saved locations would disappear under the search bar, and if I navigated, it would say my traffic was offline. Got to the point where I was having to log out and back into Google Maps everyday. It's only been a few days, but so far this update has worked.
