This time of year doing this work really 5uck5 though. Cold, Damp and breezy.
Had to put it in the quad shed to get mostly out of the weather
Used a Schrader valve hookup and buckets to get that tank empty using the fuel pump jumped at the relay.
Have no idea why i used 5 gallon buckets. I have 4 empty 5 gallon gas jugs in the garden shed.

Like the new light setup! I’m a fan of the wrap about tube style LEDs and projectors on this truck. But yeah LEFs can for sure be tricky if the projector isn’t designed for it.

For what it’s worth I run Morimoto LEDs along with their bi-xenon projector setups retrofitted. I spent a good chunk of change but worth every penny in my opinion as I live in the mountains and the highways leaving in and out are pretty dark with no street lighting. They scatter the light and have good beam patterns, but it’s really usable and when I run my highbeams along with the projectors, there’s tons of usable light coming off the truck for the Mountain highways. Just my $.2…. lol

Getting the tank out is actually not a bad job at all. Now that i have it out and know how to do it i think i could do it in about an hour
I was really dreading doing it as all you see is how bad a job it is and a PITA, but it's really not.
The bummer is i ordered the GM replacement sender and it does not fit as my fuel pump is a Delphi so have to return that to Rock Auto. Leaving me with the only choice of purchasing a complete fuel pump from Orilley's as i need my truck running but it will not be here till tomorrow around noon.

mine is consistant with each tank of fuel so I'm starting to think its the stepper/driver for that gauge, not a chaffed/loose wire

Could be the stepper motor. I would change it if i knew for sure the sender is good.
My sender is for sure bad. The two little wiper arm things that run across the traces are worn out and one is pretty much missing.
Never got into motor homes myself but it does look like you are doing a great job! I do have a 98 Express high top van i made into a camper van for the wife and i as in the summer i spend a lot of time in the woods.
I'm pretty much tired of aircraft. After working Here for almost 20 years all i really wanna do is just buy old sh*tty Chevy’s do a little work to em and sell em on my schedule.

Been checking oil pressure once a week since i changed the oil pump and O ring. Seems to have stabilized at 23ish psi at hot idle but will continue to monitor it.

Remember when i said i could not hear the chimes and suspected blown speakers?
After the fuel pump was done, i figured it was a perfect time to swap them out and put the new ones in. Now both front door speakers work and i hear chimes.
Stereo sounds better and fuller now. I do have the UQA+Y91 9ch + Sub Woofer Bose system.
Check out the pic. Explains perfectly why i could not hear chimes and thought the speakers were blown. PO removed both of them.

Couple questions.
When i put it in reverse the radio switches to the reverse cam, but there are no guidelines. The wife's 2014 Avalanche has guidelines when her reverse cam is on
Did the 2007 year not have that?

I do not have courtesy lights when the door opens on both front doors. The inside has a red reflector but no bulb housing and no wiring i can find for one. There is also no light on the bottom of either mirror and no spot for them to even have a light. Anyone know where they are supposed to be on a 2007 Denali XL?
