I'm assuming you are looking for a shop to rebuild it?

At least $3500, if I had to guess?

Call around to local shops, no one here can give you a better idea than you making calls to different trans rebuilders.

Ask them what parts they install and any machine work performed. Pumps invariable need machining, input drums often leak at the base of the shaft, valve bodies are worn out to varying extents and so forth.

Fill out your profile with your location; perhaps other members live near you and can provide a referral.

It was somewhere around $1,500 we paid a few years ago to have the one in ours rebuilt. That was pre-pandemic.

We all have no idea what you mean, where you are or what's wrong with what transmission you have.
Since you won't even bother to say if it's 2WD or 4WD,
I'd get nervous about bad quality parts / labor under $2000.
That does NOT include installation, which will cost a bit more if its 4WD.
