I have a 2011 Yukon Denali with the 6.2 engine. It has 155000 miles and just noticed this ticking noise from one side of engine. Any ideas what it might be?

Hard to say, first thing you want to do is take off all of the belts and start it up for a minute and see if the noise is gone, if so then you know it's a bolt on

The video starts on the driver side, moves around in the front, then the passenger side and then ends. If you replay it multiple times, it does sound like it's making more noise on the driver side. Or is that simply the microphone picking it up differently, not sure. If the video is accurate and it's that much louder on the driver side, I would pull that valve cover check the trunions and push rods. Maybe a video directly over the top of the engine, keep the phone the same distance above, and go from left valve cover to right, back and forth three or four times

Definitely try the stethoscope, or your ear on a long extension.... You'll be surprised how much clearer you'll hear sounds
