I haven’t had a chance to look at it but I’ll start by checking the inlet. It’s got a small leak at the side of radiator I need to replace to be able to tell. 99 Vortec 5.7

That is a tapered wedge that is glued onto the window and the mirror base dovetails onto the wedge (locking it in place).

What about the part still on the windshield that I was asking about? That’s the mystery.That is a tapered wedge that is glued onto the window and the mirror base dovetails onto the wedge (locking it in place).

Not today but this last weekend I got the gas tank back in after replacing the fuel pump.

Those pads have been difficult to find. Everyplace I look tried to sell me glue for the mount.

Got it home safe without getting creamed, but I'm not willing to drive it again until I get this figured out.
