Intermittent shaking at red light

A few guesses: engine misfire, bad engine mount, throttle body needs cleaning.
original owner? bought it used?
I know on mine I changed out the broken, blown out fluid filled motor mounts for solid rubber hummer mounts
as such occasionally now there is some slight vibration at idle, no biggie just get to feel those ponies a little better

I am assuming, I hate doing that, there is no CEL?

Bought it used a couple months ago. Pretty clean all the way around for the midwest. Went through that carbravo inspection prior to buying it at the dealer. My mechanic took a look also. No check engine light and drives good. Only that slight vibration and feels like it needs an alignment.
What makes it "feels like it needs an alignment"? What is it doing?
you can take it to a GM dealer and ask them to print out whatever work was ever done to it at a dealership. that might give you a idea of where it stands service wise. Of course anything not performed at a dealer will not show up. some things can show up in carfax depends on where it taken
A vibration at idle wouldn't have anything to do with the wheel alignment.
I know but the way he worded the statement made it sound like he was saying that.
