Parking brake light stays on after releasing the parking brake. Any ideas?

Pull the release and use your toe to pull up on the pedal and see if the light goes out. Last one I did the front parking brake cable was binding and wouldn't release. You can see the switch on the pedal assembly under the dash.

Your 'break' is broke, and your 'brake' might be, too. ;)

lol oops. Too early in the morning I guess.
look up under the dash where the mechanism is, there is a little copper color metal tab contact switch, I can't recall if it contacts when the brake is applied or releases when the brake is applied it's one or the other.
if it is the fluid level sensor unplugging it would make the light go out.
