IMG_0267[1].JPG IMG_0270[1].JPG I'm going to attempt to make this as clear as possible. 2 months ago I hit a deer and had my entire front end replaced. A lot of electrical issues started to happen after the front of the vehicle was fixed through insurance. They would not cover the electrical issues because I could not prove the accident caused it.

  1. Rear Wiper flickers when I apply the brakes
  2. Cruise control shuts off when I engage the blinker. Sometimes wont even turn on in the morning only or will randomly shut off.
  3. ABS and Brake like intermittent. ON then OFF all day everyday.
  4. service 4wd light on only in the morning
  5. Fog lights button indicates the lights are on all the time even though I don't use them
  6. daytime driving lights will not work at all with new bulbs.
  7. 2WD light is not illuminated.
  8. Car will shut down while driving (gages will all be lit but they will not work for a second) then randomly pop back on when I start slowing down.
I think it is all do to a bad ground but will never be able to determine where.

Have you tried looking at the fuse boxes? Those are the areas I would start first, and the most common
to shared items mentioned.

How bad was the damage? What side was hit the worst?
Any pictures of the damage?
Like 2006yukonlx said, check under and around the fuse box. By the sound of what you are describing you have a pinched wire or missing ground like you were saying. Now the fun begins. Dig into where the damage was and start checking there repair. If the problems were not there before I am sure you will find something there.

I currently do not have any pictures from the accident (on old phone). The damage was all head on..radiator, A/C compressor, bumper, both headlights with running lights and blinker location. The body shop did install a new harness for headlights. The fuses are all good. Had to remove rear wiper fuse to get it to stop turning on the brakes applied. Someone mentioned a ground point behind the dash by the firewall. Any thoughts?

With a collision like yours It's going to be hard to determine where your problem could be. If your handy your going to dig in. I would start at the fuse box and go forward. I am sure you will find something.

I'm a little late to the party, but it sounds like bad grounds to me. There are some grounding straps in the engine compartment and they could have been removed and not tightened back properly. The intermittency of the injures makes this sound like it could be the issue.
