Dang. That is NICE!!! When do you pick it up? We will have to compare notes on thoughts on it after you drive it around a bit. I just got a new set of KO3 on it and they have been really good.
I didn’t think I was much to aspire to or all that influential but you sure are validating these...
If I remember correctly the radiator is slightly bigger + an auxiliary cooler for the transmission. There is also a built in trailer brake controller (this is also a stand-alone option I believe).
Marky, if extra time was my only issue in life I am not sure I would be on this forum… Having enough $$$ to buy the extra time is the issue hahaha
Not sure I can rationalize spending more money after just buying the truck. I will let you know when my $2 scratch off pays off or if the 6.0 gives...
Hello, I know this is an aged thread but I will be ordering one soon as our travel schedule increases, but is there a “best order” site? I would like you to have the highest margin so is ordering from your actual website the best for you or Amazon or Etsy?

I just read this thread and you sound like a perfect candidate for this swap. Sorry for the engine issues…
This is a great build thread! I just purchased an 18 Suburban 3500 with the 6L90 already so I wonder how easy the 6.6L would drop in?
Thanks for posting and good luck with selling. I also agree the Toyota hybrids are pretty great! Too bad our Suburbans are not offered with true meaningful...
What about modifying one of those hitch mount cargo carriers? Most are rated up to 500lbs but a few are up to 700lbs. Should be plenty for a nice deer. Or just do as the backwoods folk do and strap it to the hood. Half will be cooked by the time you get it home and can be snacked on while camping.
Yaaa… something sounds like there is an issue somewhere. This type of range means the average mileage is low single digits (towing type mileage). Not sure but that’s just me and I’m more on this site to be the nagging random person that says a lot but of little value… maybe every 1000 words...
This truck is just great. I love the wheel combo as I’m not a huge fan of the big rims. These deep dish hit just right. Good crust around them and a few pepperonis. Can’t wait to see it completed!!
This is real nice looking! What type of trails do you run or are they just dirt roads where clearance and traction are sometimes needed?
Do you know any good stories your truck was involved in prior to its pampered life with you?
If you like creature comforts, shoot for a 16+ as the Apple CarPlay comes into play. Otherwise it’s still just a GM truck. They have issues but are generally pretty robust. They have to be otherwise they would be such consistent sellers for GM. Good luck in your search! I had a 01 2500 and now...
Glad to hear it’s all good so far! Can’t wait to hear about how it goes - I started a 3500 Suburban thread and hoping to report back on towing with the 6.0.
Saw this thread and after @intheburbs weighed in on my 3500 thread (pun intended) I knew he was going to be the guru to bring into the conversation. Glad he was able to impart his knowledge and safe travels!
