New update again… really starting to crank on this Tahoe, just bought new seat set. A few years ago re-did the seats with new OE covers, seats cushions for both passenger and driver. Still didn’t like the way they sat or felt.

So I bought 2014 seats, as well as the center console/jump seat from a Silverado. I also plan on putting the Gen5 third row seat into my 2nd row. I’ll be using OBSoutpost.com for the seat brackets

Incase anyone is also looking at a 6” suspension lift… use your stock torsion keys. I bought the RC 1-2” lift keys, and these (without screwing the adjuster in at all) put my arms on the bump stops. So use your stock keys, I just wasted a full day taking all that back apart and putting the stock ones back in.

Yeah my comment was more of a joke.. I had to cut the U bolts off, no way I’m using that crap, new plates were already bought.

Update: my seats arrived from OK dismantling.. came in a huge crate, I’ll get pics tomorrow when I open it. Spent all day putting in the add-a-leaf and doing the rear lift, 101* heat and I’m not in a garage. But I got them done except one last bolt, the damn thing must have gotten some debris in tte threads, good thing that it happened on the first inch, cut it off and got a new nut
