1970 nova....sleeper of some sorts...until you roll down your windows...full interior....406 small block... good for 530 horse power.....510 ft. lbs. painted it rally green with a pearl in it about six months ago in my drive way....came out real nice....all motor and body work done in my garage.
Perhaps H.I.D is the way to go for some or lately most folks... there are still some good quality lights on the open market that produces a good light pattern for night driving. Wanted a glass lens with a decent reflector.
Yes they do mount up pretty easy. I had to cut a little bit off of the factory bracket and drilled a new hole in the factory bracket for the mounting bolt of the new light. You can purchase either fog or driving light....I purchased the driving light.

Got them off of ebay about two years ago. If I remember right they were inexpensive....made some small brackets for them and bolted them right up to a factory bolt underneath the step bumper. To wire them...all I did was splice into the factory backup light wire.

I had the same issue. When I purchased the led tail lights the back up lights cast a better light pattern (same bulb as before). The led lights I picked has the back up light lens on the bottom of the tail lights....unlike the oem tail lights. I also added some bullet aux. back up lights...

I was thinking mounting 2 6 inch lights about 2 inches apart from each other.....in the center of the bar.....but now I am not sure......you guys got me thinking about more lights......
So.....made a light bar out of 1.5 inch tubing for my 03 GMC Yukon XL. Total cost for materials was 40.00. Came out real nice. Going to weld on two light tabs and add two 6 inch lights. Will paint it matt black. It currently has gray primer on it now.
