Is this how the rear springs are supposed to be?

The springs have more than enough room to be removed without disconnecting the shocks or the sway-bar which seems odd to me.

Is this how the rear springs are supposed to be?

I measured the shocks fully extended and they seem to be factory but I don't really have any way of knowing for sure. The springs have more than enough room to be removed without removing the shocks which seems odd.

Is this how the rear springs are supposed to be?

I just removed the 3" rear / 2" front blocks that were installed by the sheriff's department which owned this Tahoe previously. Now the rear springs are just resting on the axle with the vehicle on the lift. From everything I've read, the springs are supposed to be 'wedged' in place requiring...

    VCIM for Bluetooth

I have a 2016 PPV that was ordered without Bluetooth. I am trying to figure out if the necessary wiring might already be in the vehicle so I can drop in a new module to get BT and Onstar. Do you have any experience in this regard? Thanks

A Sticky for New PPV/SSV Owners To Re-Civilianize Our Tahoes

Has anyone purchased a 2015+ PPV that has the bluetooth deleted? I can't believe anyone would order it this way but that's what I have. I want to add whatever is necessary to have bluetooth so I can use my phone.

    Detailing with Dynamat

After installing the rear lights, I took the opportunity to deaden some noise with Dynamat. It is time consuming but well worth the effort. I'm curious if anyone else has installed Dynamat to quiet the cabin.

Hello from the crime capital of the midwest (St Louis)

It does very well. I won't lie, I was a little concerned but it has plenty of air flow. Most of what I do is funeral escorts but occasionally other traffic control duties.

Hello from the crime capital of the midwest (St Louis)

Thank you for welcome True, they are fast but when they fail its generally catastrophic. I do miss the rocket power, but overall I'm digging the new ride.

Hello from the crime capital of the midwest (St Louis)

My first truck was a '77 Silverado 4x4 and it was probably the best truck I've owned. I now have a 2016 Tahoe PPV which I am in the process of upfitting for work. It's taken a little getting used to as my previous vehicle was a '16 Interceptor Utility with dual turbos. Some ****** crashed into...
