Yeah.. I'll try and figure out the pic thing. I just wire nutted the connection until I get a connector, or equivalent. Thanks for the help.

    95 Heat/AC issue

Yeah, I didn't let it run very long while it was out. I knew it would get pretty warm. Found it. The main power/ground wires that feed the blend door and blower harness is roasted, the ground side of it is. I wonder if the bad actuator caused it. Maybe the pic works... .

    95 Heat/AC issue

The blower resistor that's mounted in the top of the housing. It put off a hot, dirty smell, kinda like the first time you turn a home furnace on in the fall. I replaced the blend door actuator but it did not affect the main issue. I'm gonna chase the ground down and see if I can find the...

    95 Heat/AC issue

So I piggy backed a ground from the battery into the back side of the ground for the blower motor and got everything to function. I didn't do this very long for fear of frying something. I got a smell from the resistor(it's out and hanging free). I heard a grindy-clicky kinda noise coming from...

    95 Heat/AC issue

I've checked the ground at the blower and blend doors to the back of the head and the battery itself. Meter beeps loud and clear. The one thing that's getting me is the diagram that I have shows a ground from the controller to a spot under the dash near the service connector. I can't find a...

    95 Heat/AC issue

Yes.... and yes. I stick the red probe in the blower ground and touch the black one to the dash support, ECM, or door hinge. Am I missing something?

    95 Heat/AC issue

Makes no difference which door motor I plug in, they all put voltage on the blower ground.

    95 Heat/AC issue

No voltage when blend motors are unplugged. I was gonna do the process of elemination by plugging them in one by one, but ran out of time today. I have not found a fuse blown... I wish it would. Just 3 blend doors right?

    95 Heat/AC issue

It's the black one that goes on the bolt on lug on the blower housing.

    95 Heat/AC issue

I have a 95 Tahoe, 5.7 w/5spd. I've got a heat/ac problem. The only thing on the control panel that works is the ac button and the compressor clicks when you select a defrost mode. The fan, temp, rear defrost, and position selectors do not function. With the key on, engine off there are 12 volts...

    95 Stick Shift

New here. I've got a 95 Tahoe with a 5 spd stick. I live in southern Illinois but I'm originally from Athens Alabama. It's in pretty good shape mechanically, but I get some problems sometimes..... that brings me here.
