    New Spyder. Now P0300

Wow! You gentlemen are amazing. I have a 99 5.7 as well and am fighting the p0300 too. I just dropped a grand on a new catalytic converter and Fuel Pressure Regulator, just to be told "Still runs like crap, but at least there's 2 less things to worry about". Thanks a lot, useless local shop...

    Very annoying brake problem!

Les Schwab does free brake inspections. They were able to dx my grinding noise like it was nothing. Now, I wouldn't suggest paying them to fix it unless you can't.. But sit back, eat some popcorn, and let them tell you what's wrong.

    Rear A/C system..

Can anyone tell me how to get the cover off of the rear A/C components? This is the housing in the back over the right rear wheel well. I'm not an idiot, but I feel like I'm going to break it when I'm pulling on it. And since I have never seen what's underneath it, I don't want to pull a wire...

    Headligths going out

I had an '02 Sierra that did a similar problem. Except the lights would flicker. It was a bad switch. I replaced it and the problem was gone. Since yours is making a buzzing noise, I'd say your switch is fried. Good luck.

    rear tailgate rattling

Mine does the same thing. I figured out that the tailgate handle (99 4d, 4WD) was broken. I found one for under $25. Haven't had a chance to order and work on it yet...

    Fuel Gauge Going Haywire

Thanks! Thanks 07! That's definitely a good path to head down. The rest of the gauges are all working fine. He said they replaced the water and fuel pump, so the calibration sounds like a likely issue. Not very excited that it seems to be a common issue that others are having. Hopefully I'll...

    Fuel Gauge Going Haywire

Morning! I recently bought a 99 Tahoe 4-door 4WD. It had 4 12-inch subs, and all sorts of amps and capacitors. I yanked out the noisy stuff. But here's my question. When I was test driving it, the fuel gauge was moving... when I started it, it was full... as I pulled out of the lot, it was...
