    Got my old tahoe back

Thanks man! We tried to use all the best materials and primered/blocked the whole thing three times to get it as smooth as possible. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out

    Got my old tahoe back

Are these 22s? If so, they seem small. That's the only reason I wasn't sure about the tbss. I feel like they need to be at least a 24 to look right

    Got my old tahoe back

Nice find! I've been looking for a couple weeks for a set of the sierra replicas in black chrome but it seems like they're all sold out. I definitely love the look of black chrome but didn't realize the tbss reps came in that finish. I'm not very familiar with the PVD finish, any idea how it's...

    Got my old tahoe back

I thought about that also. I might have my stepdad go ahead and do that when he paints the other parts.

    Got my old tahoe back

Here's a before and after of the bumper/signal lights I replaced. It's crazy how yellow the old ones got. I guess it's to be expected considering they're fairly cheap. I'm going to try to keep some wax on these ones and hopefully they'll last a little longer.

    Lowering my Tahoe

I say go with Tony's 3/5-6 kit because if you go with the 2/3 you'll just end up wanting to go lower. That's how it was with me and about half the guys on here haha. Either way it would look nice!

    Got my old tahoe back

Thank you sir, I appreciate it. A lot of people seem to think I should go with the tbss wheels. Does anyone know of any NBS suvs with them in a chrome 22? I haven't had much luck finding any pictures

    Got my old tahoe back

And as far as the imperfections, there really isn't anything that the majority of people would notice. I'm just very particular about it and know that if I had kept it, it wouldn't have them. Lol

    Got my old tahoe back

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I just got back on this site a few weeks ago and looked through your build thread. Yours is badass. I was set on the machined tbss 24's like you have, but as much as I hate to, I think I need to downsize to 22s. I also think I should stick to chrome to tie in the...

    Got my old tahoe back

Well about a year and a half ago I made the mistake of getting rid of my 02 tahoe. My stepdad and I had spent about 6 months building it and had a ton of time in it. I ended up trading it for a 2005 Acura TL because I figured I should get something better on gas considering my college is about...

    Looking to shave lift gate

Haha yeah I'm sure some people use it but I never do. If I were to need to open it for some reason, it would only take a minute or so. I just have to pop off part of the interior panel and push the lever.

    Looking to shave lift gate

No, I planned to install an electric solenoid to open it remotely but I never got around to it. I always just open the whole thing anyways. I may get around to it some day though.

    ss fiberglass bumpers

You can see in this picture where we cut it. It ended up working fine and looked great once we smoothed it out, but I definitely don't recommend the fiberglass version. Not long after, I hit a raccoon and it destroyed the bumper. I ended up replacing it with the street scene urethane version...

    ss fiberglass bumpers

The first bumper I got was the fiberglass version. It wouldn't fit no matter what we tried. You're supposed to install them with the top bumper cap still installed but mine wouldn't so we had to remove it. It still wouldn't fit, so we made a relief cut in the top, installed it, and then...

    Looking to shave lift gate

I definitely recommend it. It looks so much better than stock and it's never even been a slight inconvenience for me. I live in Ohio, and we get plenty of snow, rain, and whatever else. The rear window has never gotten dirty enough that I needed the wiper though. Here's mine

    My 02 tahoe transformation

Cain, I actually didn't replace the rockers, I only replaced the two rear lower quarter panels. There was some rust in one of the rear door jambs, and some on the bottom of the rocker. We just cut these pieces out, sandblasted them, welded in some new metal, and then welded them back in. I...

Spotted this jewel on Craigslist. How anyone can think this looks good I will never understand lol. And that interior..:doublepuke:

    My 02 tahoe transformation

Chris, it's just a static drop. It doesn't have air suspension, although I would love to do it. So yeah, it rides at this height all the time. And I can still turn full lock both directions without rubbing, but I did lose a small bit of turning radius with the lowering spindles. It isn't enough...
