ss fiberglass bumpers

Having a lot of trouble with my bumper cover fitting don't know what to do

The first bumper I got was the fiberglass version. It wouldn't fit no matter what we tried. You're supposed to install them with the top bumper cap still installed but mine wouldn't so we had to remove it. It still wouldn't fit, so we made a relief cut in the top, installed it, and then fiberglassed it back up.

You can see in this picture where we cut it. It ended up working fine and looked great once we smoothed it out, but I definitely don't recommend the fiberglass version. Not long after, I hit a raccoon and it destroyed the bumper. I ended up replacing it with the street scene urethane version. The fit is much better, and it's a lot more flexible.

Yea I ended up buying a street scene
