Thanks. What year is for Tahoe? I wonder if there is a difference in the core support on my 07 suburban. I have about 1.5 clearance from the back of the housing where the low beam is to a core support brace
I ordered similar ones. Same brand. Maybe the next version. They look almost the same and I can't get the headlight housing all the way in with out the heatsinks touching and blocking it
When I look up my 2007 Suburban a low beam option does not come up. Only high beams and other bulbs. I'm looking for maybe better than stock but really want long lasting. Auto part store replacement bulbs usually last a month over a year warranty and it gets old taking the headlight housings out...
My 2007 has 190k on it. Heard so many stores about trying about getting the struts apart. Would it be crazy to just order new springs and all the parts and just drop them in?
My cousin did the fox setup in his gmc 1500. Install was easy but doesnt see the value for daily driving for what he spent.
Thanks for the recommendations. I put R1 carbon slotted rotors and ceramic pads on the rear.
Earlier this year I did fronts with delcos. We will see how those hold up and replace them with slots too.
I only went with a 22in AuxBeam. It doesn't get used a lot but wanted extra lighting for night drives back down the ski mountains. Haven't yet relayed it to the high beams.
My wife daily drives it to work less than 10 miles in 35 mph zones so no heavy stopping. We take lots of road trips with. We are in the Pacific Northwest with lots of Mountain passes. I am a truck driver so naturally I always on and off braking on long grades any ways.
Can't remember exactly...
Not into dropping 500 just into rotors. I can't remember store I last bought their store brand rotors but rusted to pieces and made a huge mess. I have all Delco rotors back on the suburban now. I have just mid grade parts store pads now I'm sure on it. Front rotors are a few months old and...
Thanks I appreciate the information. I've looked at a lot of conversation about rotors but most I have heard about upgrading is in stopping power and not much on life span.
I have been so focused on the right rotor but I seems I have been overlooking the importance of quality pads. The more...
Ok thanks appreciate it and your saying pads like hawks will less like that problem. I never put much research into buying pads before but never put as many miles on the same vehicle before either.
We bought our 2007 suburban at 125k and are now up to 188k. I've already replaced the rotors all once and ow the fronts a 2nd time. The rears must be warped again too. Getting a lot of brakes pulsing. This time I choose not to install auto parts store chunk and got Delco rotors off Amazon.
I...
Thought I'd post an update here on my old square body burb. Pulled the 350 and had it rebuilt and all back together. I also did a 2.5" lift and a 8 lug 3/4ton swap with a 14 bolt full floater rearend. Just finished up the last pieces to the swap today and washed it. Currently waiting on my new...
Took my 07 Suburban to the body shop for a new rear bumper and to get the rear quarter fixed after a first time driver kid backed into me in a parking lot a few weeks. I never took any pics with my phone of the damage because I was so irritated I didn't want to see them on my phone. Hopefully I...
First time towing anything with my 07. About 98-100 out today and the tranny temp only climbed a few degrees going over the pass.
The wife plans to spend at Ikea on this trip [emoji12]
Thanks for the input. I'll check out those amazon kits I do like amazon. I got a road trip this fall from WA State to Disneyland for the kids so I want it in top shape.
