    Hydroboost problems

The accumulator is there to hold reserve pressure like a vacuum brake booster. It’s just holds p.s. fluid under pressure in case you have a pump failure or belt break. With the engine off you should still have enough power assist to stop the vehicle.

What vehicle related issue did you have today?

10.4 brother, it just makes sense to me. I don’t get why you can’t Get kits to service every compressor like this. It’s like “ah, crap! The counter weight on my harmonic balancer just broke loose and shifted. Guess I have to replace the whole engine.”

What vehicle related issue did you have today?

@swathdiver The only place I could find it was Autozone p# 47362 it’s normally 144ish but got a couple discounts thrown on it which dropped it to 105 and some change. I just really didn’t want to have to evac/recharge and replace the accumulator etc with replacing the whole compressor and...

What vehicle related issue did you have today?

Welp, my ac compressor pulley bearing gave up the good fight. Ended up replacing the clutch, coil, pulley and bearing with a -$100 rebuild kit. Didn’t have to evac/recharge, replace accumulator or any of that jazz. Now back to frigid winds lol I still call it a win in my book. The coils snap...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

The pulley bearing bit the dust which burn up my clutch and coil. Not even a squeal/squeak/grind... pulled everything from the compressor and here ya have it. The coil still energized and engages the clutch but due to the extent of the damage just gonna replace it all. Parts will be here...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I like how when you installed a new hose clamp you just slid the factory clamp back lol. Easy way to kill a leak without breaking the system open.

    Best Tune?

@BlackBearPerf would y’all be able to perform a traditional tune for a Tahoe 5.3flex runnin 37’s and 5.13 gears? Or what would my options be? Also the ‘customer rides’ link on your website is not currently working, Incase y’all are not aware already. Hear nothing but great things and am pretty...

Honestly, IMO it wasn’t slow. Then again if you ask @Rocket Man it was probably as slow as pond water lol. Now when I went to 37’s and before I got around to regearing, this hoe was stupid slow but it also messed with shift points, the whole nine yards. When I installed my 5.13’s she got here...
