    plus if the system has discharged compleatly you will have air in the system plus moisture and would have lost the oil which keeps your compresser lubricated. you will need to find the leak, and replace orfis tube and dryer and recharge.

    It's ever so slight but there, last for a second and then its normal and quiet. 1999, 133,000 miles, great oil pressure. I assume it has hydrolic non adjustable vales, but there should be a TQ spec. any help would be appreciated.

    Mobile 1 in my 05 Z71 since new with no problems and I still change it at 4,000 miles, good oil is cheap insurance. I use no additional snake oil additives. royal purpal in rest of drivetrain.

    sounds like you may have shorted out something. really no reason for those componates not to work. turn your ac on and look at the front of your compressor to see if the clutch is spinning. it is also on a electrical circuit. check ALL fuses and links.

    I've serched for info on this type package to see if it has heavy duty cooling like the PPV package, the reason I ask is that it never gets near 210 degrees it appears that its the same exept for spot lights and maybe a few other things like lower suspension since mine is a 4x4. thanks, BUD

    Like the others said, if its burning the oil let it idel for 15 to 20 mins and have someone get in side and rev it up and look at the tail pipe to see if you are getting any trace of white or blue smoke if you are your rings are going bad more than likely.
