Question for those of you that upgraded your fog lights to LED.

The stock reflector is built to make better use of the lumen output on the sides (more reflective surface area). For best results the leds should be on the sides (not top/bottom).

My GMC Intellilink Navigation Gets Caught In Rebooting Cycle ...can you duplicate?

Thanks for the heads up. I did notice that my all my recent destinations were still in there - can those be transferred over to a new unit? Well, it sounds like maybe I should just stop by and actually talk to the tech who worked on it. ...this was their claim

My GMC Intellilink Navigation Gets Caught In Rebooting Cycle ...can you duplicate?

I did find it odd that those numbers didn't change after the "update". I think they just reflashed over the top, which in my case seems to have fixed the issue I was having. I did find it odd no one else had reported the issue I was having. If it turns out to be just an original software...

My GMC Intellilink Navigation Gets Caught In Rebooting Cycle ...can you duplicate?

Took it in for a software update, that appears to have fixed the issue. Will report back if anything changes. FYI this was an April 2016 build date Yukon.

Vanquish Auto 80w PHILIPS LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX26W Review

Yes, you should feel the screw snug up nice and tight. The allen wrench is so small (1.5mm) that when the screw is tight the wrench will actually start to bend/twist some under your turning pressure. The wrench will twist itself back when you release the pressure on the screw when it is tight.

    Poor Sirius/XM reception

The issue many people are experiencing is supposedly related to the stock antenna and radio being susceptible to intermodulation with T-Mobile Cellular frequencies when close to T-Mobile Next Gen towers/equipment that have been updated recently with their newest technology (over the last 18+...

How do you read Transmission Info in AutoCal?

If The T42 option isn't there contact Blackbear directly and make sure the Autocal was setup correctly before being shipped to you.

How do you read Transmission Info in AutoCal?

You need to retrieve both the Engine & Transmission Tune Files (for you this should be reading the existing E38 and T42 settings information from your vehicle). Then you should have also collected a single Data Log (separate from the tune files) which contains both engine and transmission data.

Vanquish Auto 80w PHILIPS LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX26W Review

Would be an interesting comparison since both use the exact same LEDs (Philips Lumiled) and the same number of them - 8. The main difference being a linear (Vanquish Auto) versus square (VLEDS) LED layout. Vanquish Auto also has a 2 year warranty on their fog lights versus VLEDS 1 year...

The heat is generated by the 8 LEDs within the housing, but the main portion of the heatsink (which dissipates the heat) is outside the housing. Everything in the red rectangle below is outside the fog lamp housing.

It's just a small set screw on the side of the heat sink base (see red circle below). It requires a small 1.5mm allen wrench to tighten which IS included in the package you will get from Vanquish Auto. Tighten the screw all the way, just remember it is aluminum (a soft metal).

My GMC Intellilink Navigation Gets Caught In Rebooting Cycle ...can you duplicate?

I went on a long trip over this past holiday in my 2016 Yukon Denali and noticed an issue with my GMC Intellilink System Navigation. Anytime I had a route (single destination) active in the navigation system and I shut down the vehicle (in my case it was to get gas and then continue on my...

Vanquish Auto 80w PHILIPS LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX26W Review

Yes, I do recommend the 80w bulbs. I'm not sure what your Suburban originally came with, what is the year? Yes, the end is large (made of aluminum to help dissipate the heat). On the '15+ Tahoes and Yukons there is tons of room behind the fog light so there is no issue with room. I believe it...

Vanquish Auto 80w PHILIPS LED Fog Light Bulbs PSX26W Review

I'm not sure a north/south versus an east/west LED orientation will cause more of a blinding light for the same powered lamp within the same housing. The in-direct disbursement of these lamps are caused by the inherent design of the fog light housing/reflector itself. These housings are...

Installation: As with the 50w bulbs I was also able to install the 80w bulbs without removing any parts (other than the bulbs). If you have trouble doing this or prefer a little more room to work with you can remove 3 - 7mm screws from the front fender liner (see first pic below), and 2 - 10mm...

The brighter ones are something new, they weren't even listed a week or two ago. If you really want the 80w pair I'd wait until they show a side by side comparison of the 50w to 80w. If you're leaning towards the 50w just go ahead and buy them, they are a good deal for $40 with expedited...
