    Aluminum radiator on Denali

Has anyone ever used one of these radiators https://www.carid.com/liland-global/radiator-mpn-2370aa.html. I need to replace the one on my 04 Yukon and it's only about $20 more for full aluminum over one with plastic tanks

    Engine running a little warm

Sometimes the simplest answer is the right one. I was about half a gallon low on coolant. Topped it off and I was fine. I'm going to run the electric fan from the PCM

    Engine running a little warm

I'll check the upper hose tomorrow. I'm going to be swapping to an electric fan in the next month or two so if that is the problem it gives me more reason to upgrade.

    Engine running a little warm

I don't remember the brand of the water pump. It was the whole assembly with the pump housing and thermostat from Napa. I don't remember the first brand of knock sensors but the new ones are ac delco. I doubt it's air in the system as I changed the water pump months ago and it worked fine up...

    Engine running a little warm

My 04 Yukon Denali has been running intermittently warm lately. I've got about 125k on it and replaced the water pump and thermostat less than 500 miles ago. It runs anywhere from 1 dash below half to almost 3/4. There doesn't seem to be any regularity to it either. sometimes idle is right at...

Subwoofer options without losing cargo space. SWB

No jack storage. I don't usually travel very far so I don't worry about it. The back of the box is fitted to the body behind the face. It took a while to get all of it laid out before I glassed it. Here's the build thread...

    Reeee Dooooo!

I noticed the sand rail in the back round of some of your pics. I'm building one myself.

I just did this in my truck. Lost about an inch of cargo space

Finally getting somewhere on my speaker box build

I've been spending most of my time getting the cars ready for show season and my new project and haven't been on here as much as I used to. The wood floor wasn't hard to do but really time consuming. I'm actually going to redo it at some point. I started by removing all the hardware for the 3rd...

Finally getting somewhere on my speaker box build

that carpet is there to get dirty. It covers the wood floor in the cargo area. It is a standard Denali and the reason the box looks stock is because it is. The front panel of the box is the original interior panel. I cut out all the opening and filled them then fiberglassed the whole thing. The...

Finally getting somewhere on my speaker box build

Here it is after paint and adding the grille. I ended up using spray bed liner to give the box some texture then SEM paint over the top to match the color. I'm damn happy with how it came out.

    Custom Headliner

Still not the greatest pics but may be the best I can do.

    Custom Headliner

The spray type contact cements like Stay Put or that weldwood will work much better than anything in an aerosol can. Make sure you get good coverage but not to the point of soaking through. 2 medium coats are better than 1 heavy one.

    Custom Headliner

I don't know about shops in your area but it's less than half the price if someone brings us a headliner already out of the car. The problem is trying to move something that size when it's not in the vehicle. There's no good place to put it. This is the only picture I have of it right now. I...

    Custom Headliner

I work at an upholstery shop and do at least a few headliners a month. You HAVE to take off the old liner. Suede is much harder to work with than regular headliner material because it doesn't like to stretch. Make sure you have a wide enough piece after accounting for all the curves in the...

Anyone have pics of clear Denali head lights?

They look a lot better on the truck. Do you have a closer pic? Thanks XL. Those look really good.

Anyone have pics of clear Denali head lights?

That's exactly what I was looking for. Do you have a pic of them mounted on the truck?

Anyone have pics of clear Denali head lights?

I've been looking at the aftermarket ones and most are just ugly. I would like to add either halo's or switchbacks but I'm not sure. Do you have any more pics of the light apart or assembled without the amber lens?

Anyone have pics of clear Denali head lights?

It is the wrong year but does give me at least some idea of what it looks like. Here's my truck. This is the mockup grille that I just had painted. It should be going on this weekend. It's kind of hard to tell but there is a black stainless mesh in the grille. I'm going to remove the tow hooks...

Anyone have pics of clear Denali head lights?

I'm thinking about taking the amber lenses out of my front Denali lights and possibly blacking the chrome out so they match my new front grille better. I haven't been able to find any pics of what the lights look like with the amber lenses removed and if possible blacked out. I've seen a few...

Looking for different looking in white. If you have 56k, Why?

Here's my contribution. I just did the roll pan and painted tahoe side steps. This weekend I'll be putting the new front grille on the truck.

04 Yukon Denali AWD to 4WD swap

In case anyone looking to do this swap stumbles across this post I'll cross post this here too. I've been researching this swap for probably two months or more using every combination of search words I could think of. Today I happened to swipe on my phone and look through the news articles and...

G80 swap into 04 Yukon Denali

I've been researching this swap for probably two months or more using every combination of search words I could think of. Today I happened to swipe on my phone and look through the news articles and found this article on pretty much the exact swap. Sometimes big brother can be helpful I guess...

G80 swap into 04 Yukon Denali

Thanks for posting thise. I hadn't seen one of them. The only thing I didn't like about his swap is that he has to crawl under the truck to shift. I'm going with the the 243 tc so everything hopefully works as it should. My truck is lowered 4" so getting under it to shift isn't an option...
